ALI NIAZI

MANAGING DIRECTOR

In 2007, Ali graduated from the VU University in Amsterdam with a Masters in Finance Business Administration and began his career at Morgan Stanley, as a Financial Analyst. After 5 years in financial services, Ali decided to venture outside of Europe and move to Dubai. Having spent a number of years in team leading and managerial positions and with a vision to set up his own business in the future, in 2016, Ali joined Trustmoore, a leading global Corporate Services Provider, to set up their Dubai office as part of the group’s strategic expansion. With a sizeable portfolio of HNWI, corporate clients as well as strategic partners, in 2018, Ali founded Nimbus Consultancy. Ali serves as the Managing Director, responsible for the operations and business development of the firm. With his wealth of experience in various industries, Ali’s key strength is advising clients and providing practical guidance to individuals, SMEs and larger corporations in setting up and conducting their business in the UAE and wider region. Ali is multi-lingual and speaks fluent Dutch, English and Urdu.

Gary Hales

Head of Business Development

Gary Hales is a strategic advisor, executive coach, and company formation specialist with over a decade of experience supporting founders, senior executives, and growth-stage businesses across the UK and Dubai.

Having lived and worked in Dubai for more than 12 years, Gary brings deep, practical insight into what it truly takes to launch, position, and scale a business in the UAE. He has advised entrepreneurs, start-ups, and corporate leaders on go-to-market strategy, business model development, leadership performance, and international relocation.

Gary works at the intersection of strategy and execution — helping clients clarify their value proposition, define their market positioning, build structured sales processes, and implement sustainable growth frameworks.

His background in executive coaching enables him to support not just the business strategy, but the leadership mindset required to execute it successfully.

Ibtasam Aziz

Ibtasam Aziz is a corporate services advisor and market entry specialist with extensive experience supporting entrepreneurs, multinational groups, and growth-stage businesses across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

With years of hands-on experience structuring mainland, free zone, and offshore entities, Ibtasam brings practical insight into what it takes to successfully establish and operate a compliant business presence in the region. He has advised founders, family offices, and corporate executives on company formation, regulatory navigation, tax structuring considerations, and cross-border expansion.

Ibtasam works at the intersection of strategy and compliance, helping clients design the right structure from day one, align with regulatory requirements, and build scalable foundations for long-term growth.

His experience liaising with government authorities, financial institutions, and legal advisors enables him to streamline complex incorporation processes while mitigating risk.

His approach is commercially focused, detail-oriented, and execution-driven — combining regulatory precision with practical business insight to ensure seamless market entry and sustainable expansion.

Shawn Drury

Shawn is a former senior retail banker & asset finance specialist with over 25 years of experience serving leading International Banks and Financial Services companies across the UAE, GCC & South Africa, including 3 years at board-level experience during a 9-year tenure with HSBC Middle East. He is a natural business leader with a solution & results-oriented mindset and solid track record in delivering impressive bottom-line results. He is also, an accomplished business developer highly skilled in formulating and implementing fit-for-purpose strategies to drive growth and is responsible for driving the local and international strategic partnership strategy for Nimbus Consultancy based out of Dubai, UAE
